Connecting NI
Grand Central Station enhances local and international connectivity with bus, coach and rail links across Northern Ireland and beyond, creating a main gateway to help support local tourism and business travel.
Other sustainable transport modes have been considered in the design to make cycling and walking attractive options to access the new facility.
The location is central to Belfast’s two universities and other leading educational facilities. It also provides access to healthcare services with links to the two main hospitals.
By moving people effectively, we build a successful economy, giving NI a competitive edge to attract talent and investment.
