The Belfast Grand Central Station Project Team recently hosted some residents from the local area to showcase progress on the Station
Residents from nearby Carr’s Court visited the project recently to review progress on the build, understand better what the finished project will look like and also what community social value projects the station build project has been able to support.
Gemma Thompson, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Manger for the project said, “It was great to be able to host some local residents down at the project site and update them on how things are going. But it was also great to hear their stories of the area they’ve grown up in. About the vibrant shopping and community spirit and how residents hope it this will come to pass again with the completion of the station and wider redevelopment. We’re looking forward to hearing more stories of the areas heritage and look to include them as part of our Arts and Heritage activity in the station and new public realm.”
